Limited Warranty:

  • Wooden Anvil products are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase

  • Our sole obligation under this warranty is to repair or replace defective products

Warranty Claims:

  • Contact us within the warranty period with proof of purchase
  • We will determine, at our discretion, whether to repair, replace, or refund

  • EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED ABOVE, WOODEN ANVIL MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so these limitations may not apply to you

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • Wooden Anvil shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim
  • We are not liable for delays, failures, or damages caused by events beyond our reasonable control

10. Intellectual Property

Ownership:

  • All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is owned by Wooden Anvil or our licensors
  • All content is protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark laws

Limited License:

13. Kickstarter and Crowdfunding

Kickstarter Backers:

  • Kickstarter backers are subject to both these Terms and Kickstarter's Terms of Use
  • Delivery timelines for Kickstarter products are estimates
  • We will provide regular updates on production and shipping
  • Kickstarter purchases are not eligible for cancellation after the campaign closes

Pre-Orders:

  • Pre-order products have estimated ship dates that may change
  • Payment is processed at the time of pre-order
  • Pre-orders can be cancelled before production begins

14. VIP Membership Program

VIP Benefits:

  • VIP membership is a one-time $1 deposit for exclusive benefits
  • Benefits include discounts, early access, and other perks as described on the Site
  • VIP status is non-transferable
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue VIP benefits with notice

VIP Deposits:

  • The $1 VIP deposit is non-refundable
  • Deposits may be applied toward future purchases as described in the program terms

15. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law:

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles
  • Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California

Arbitration:

  • Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules
  • You waive the right to participate in class actions or class arbitrations

Exceptions:

  • Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wooden Anvil, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Your use of our products or Site

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Refund Policy and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Wooden Anvil regarding your use of the Site and purchase of products.

19. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
