Domestic Shipping (United States)

Processing Time

  • Standard orders: 1-3 business days
  • Custom orders: 5-10 business days
  • Pre-orders/Kickstarter: As specified on product page
  • VIP orders: Priority processing (1-2 business days)

Processing time begins after payment is confirmed and does not include shipping transit time.

Shipping Methods & Rates

Wooden Anvil is currently in the funding stage. As we work toward bringing The Beam to life, we're finalizing our production and fulfillment partnerships to ensure the highest quality delivery experience for our customers.

Detailed shipping rates, delivery timelines, and available shipping methods will be confirmed as we approach production and prepare for shipment. All backers and VIP members will receive advance notice of shipping options and costs well before fulfillment begins.

Shipping Restrictions

We currently ship to all 50 U.S. states, including:

  • Alaska & Hawaii (additional 3-5 days for delivery)
  • P.O. Boxes (Standard Shipping only)
  • APO/FPO addresses (Standard Shipping only, allow extra time)

International Shipping

We're excited to bring Wooden Anvil to customers worldwide. International shipping options and rates are being finalized as part of our production planning process.

As we approach fulfillment, we'll announce:

  • Available international destinations
  • Shipping rates and delivery timelines by region
  • Customs and duties information specific to your country

International backers and VIP members will receive advance notice of all shipping details well before products ship, ensuring full transparency on costs and delivery expectations.

Note: International customers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, or taxes imposed by their country. These fees vary by destination and are not included in our shipping costs.


Order Tracking

Tracking Information:

  • You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking number once your order ships
  • Track your package through the carrier's website
  • Allow 24 hours for tracking information to update after receiving your notification

Tracking Issues:

  • If tracking hasn't updated in 48 hours, contact us at orders@woodenanvil.net
  • We'll work with the carrier to locate your package

Delivery

What to Expect

  • Signature may be required for high-value orders (over $500)
  • Packages are typically left at your door or mailbox
  • Carriers may leave packages with building management or neighbors

Failed Delivery Attempts

  • Carriers typically make 2-3 delivery attempts
  • You'll receive a notice if delivery cannot be completed
  • Packages not claimed within the carrier's holding period will be returned to us
  • Return shipping fees may apply for redelivery

Lost or Stolen Packages

  • We are not responsible for packages marked as "delivered" by the carrier
  • Check with neighbors, building management, or household members
  • File a claim with the carrier if package is confirmed lost
  • We'll assist with carrier investigations when possible

Shipping Address

Important Guidelines

  • Double-check your shipping address before completing your order
  • We ship to the address provided at checkout
  • Address changes after order placement may not be possible

Address Corrections

  • Before shipping: Contact us immediately at orders@woodenanvil.net
  • After shipping: Contact the carrier directly with your tracking number
  • We cannot be held responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer

Refused or Undeliverable Packages

  • Packages refused by recipient will be returned to us
  • Customer is responsible for original shipping costs and return shipping fees
  • Refund will be issued minus shipping costs once package is received

Damaged or Missing Items

Damaged in Transit

If your order arrives damaged:

  1. Do not discard packaging - We may need photos for carrier claims
  2. Contact us within 7 days at orders@woodenanvil.net
  3. Provide photos of damaged item and packaging
  4. We'll arrange for replacement or refund at no cost to you

Missing Items

If items are missing from your order:

  1. Check all packaging carefully (items may be wrapped separately)
  2. Contact us within 7 days at orders@woodenanvil.net
  3. We'll investigate and send missing items or issue a refund

Special Shipping Situations

Pre-Orders

  • Estimated ship dates are provided on product pages

  • Pre-orders ship separately from in-stock items

Kickstarter Rewards

  • Backer rewards ship according to campaign timeline
  • Regular project updates will be sent via Kickstarter
  • Rewards may ship separately from regular store orders

Split Shipments

  • Orders containing both in-stock and pre-order items may ship separately
  • You'll receive separate tracking numbers for each shipment
  • No additional shipping charges for split shipments

Multiple Items

  • Multiple items in one order ship together when possible
  • Large or heavy items may ship separately
  • Tracking provided for each package

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

Domestic Orders:

  • Sales tax is calculated and collected at checkout based on your shipping address
  • No additional fees or duties for U.S. orders

Future International Orders:

  • International customers will be responsible for all customs fees, duties, and taxes
  • These fees are determined by your country and are not included in our shipping costs
  • Packages may be held by customs - we cannot control customs delays
